Work site control hazard and emergency response planning
We know that natural disasters can strike at any time. We need to be ready for anything - whether it’s an earthquake, fire or an accident - and the first step to being prepared is a good emergency response plan. With that in mind, we've put this course to help you with your planning.

who should attend?

This program is designed for those who want to have a working background and develop soft and technical skills as a Safety Officer or Safety Inspector.

objective

The objective is a brief summary of the purpose of the plan; that is, to reduce human injury and damage to property and environment in an emergency. It also specifies those staff members who may put the plan into action. The objective identifies clearly who these staff members are since the normal chain of command cannot always be available on short notice. At least one of them must be on the site at all times when the premises are occupied. The extent of authority of these personnel must be clearly indicated.

content

Provide an understanding of the planning and preparation of emergency response plans. Participants would bring their existing plans for review and to determine any gaps as they move through the course. Participants will collaborate in small groups to analyze scenarios using incident videos and case studies
